Child Care Institution

Child Care Institution (Children Home) for Special Boys duly registered with the Women and Child Development Department, Haryana, Panchkula under section 41(1) of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act.2015 is being run by the Society. Only the Special Children (MR) below the age of 18 years referred by the District Child Welfare Committee, Rohtak are admitted in the CCI. All the children are availing the facilities of shelter, care, medical facilities, food, recreational are provided to the children. Airy and spacious rooms are available for the inmates. Play ground facilities are there for outdoor games.  Special Educator is available to give Special Education to those who are able to attend the classes. Services of Yoga Teacher are available.  Most of the children are profoundly retarded, Maximum of them are not toilet trained and remain in the bed 24 hours. To look after such children dedicated staff is appointed.  Police verification of the staff working in the CCI is got done from time to time. Presently there is permission to accommodate 25 children against the capacity of 50 children. The accounts of the CCI are got audited yearly from the Chartered Accountants and  the report is submitted to the Women and Child Development  Department, Haryana along with the Application for seeking financial assistance. In addition to visit by government officers from time to time the District and Sessions Judge Rohtak visits the CCI every month and the activities of the CCI are appreciated by all.
